올해 나는 논문을 마쳤고 졸업을 했다.
새로운 프로젝트랍시고 오전 8시반부터 오후 5시반 까지 평일에는 광화문 어느 빌딩 자리 한 켠을 차지하고 앉아있었다.
매일 사람들을 마주치는 것에 제법 익숙해졌고
교회 안에서 소그룹 모임이란 것을 시도해보았다.
저런 책들과 저런 영화들을 보았다.
여전히 서로 충돌하는 생각들을 많이 했고
여전히 의심이 넘쳐났으나 지나치게 시니컬해지지 않는 데에 주의했다.
스스로 망신스러울 때가 꽤 있었으며 몇몇의 실수들을 더했다.
그 전에는 치지 않았던 피아노 악보들을 더러 보았고
뒤늦게 유화 색칠공부에 재미를 붙였다.
매일 한 번 즈음은 웃었던 것 같고 전년보다 덜 울었다.
하늘에 계신 그 분과의 관계는 
가까워졌다가 멀어졌다를 번복했다.
그가 나에게 선택할 수 있는 자유를 주심으로.

성장이란 것을 했다면 얼마나 했는지 모를 일이지만,
life is to be continued... (not in the way I already know, I hope.)


2011년, 나의 서른 한 번째 해였다.
